Study habits…new insights

This NYT article touches on some empirical research about studying and learning that has not yet fully entered the educational world.  One point I want to emphasize:  the bit about multiple short bouts being valuable as opposed to single marathon sessions.  It takes planning and time management to make this happen, but you will reap rewards I think.  I was very surprised by the information about studying the same material in different locations being beneficial.
